Vehicle Headlight Tinting

COVEX tint for lights is a specialty film manufactured from a PET material (Polyethylene Terephthalate). As COVEX is designed for exterior installation, it has been engineered with a proprietary protective coating. It can be applied on most glass and polycarbonate lights.

COVEX can be applied on most car or motorbike light surfaces. However please note it is not recommended for high intensity lights without a silver tip or cowling.

COVEX tint for lights has been designed and manufactured to have as minimal effect as possible on light output and has an 80% VLT (visible light transmission). However it is important to note that reduction of light output will vary according to the vehicle model and age. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that light output after application is adequate to maintain safe driving conditions.

COVEX is not available for DIY installation. To have COVEX installed on your vehicle or if you have any questions, please contact us.

New MOT guidelines issued in 2012 state that “products on the headlight or lens that obviously reduces the lights intensity or changes its colour will become a reason for failure”. COVEX has no effect whatsoever on the light shape and colour. It has also been manufactured to have as minimal effect as possible on light output with a VLT (visible light transmission) of 80%. Please note however that light output may vary depending on vehicle model and age.

Residential Window Tinting

To many residential property or home owners, the benefits of adding film to a window are largely unknown.

Vehicle wrapping is a new vinyl revolution which has been designed as a cost effective means of colour wrapping a vehicle whether for promotional purposes or for long term applications.

Vehicle wrapping is the new mobile outdoor advertising medium and seems to be popping up in every major city in the UK and abroad.

A good wrap must be able to cover the windows but not impede visibility and its vinyl materials must be weather resistant to heat, UV, cold and wind. Adherence to the vehicle shell is important, as the wrap must stay on without it peeling off, before purposely being pulled off. Lastly, the vinyl must be easily removed without damaging the vehicle surface with an adhesive residue or even worse, stripping the exterior paint off the vehicle.
